David Crain and his wife live in Abbeville, Louisiana, where they are blessed with four lovely girls. For David, construction was never just a career path. It was a way of life from an early age.

Growing up in South Louisiana, David spent his summers working alongside his father, who owned an HVAC, plumbing, and electrical company in Abbeville. From the time he was in seventh grade, he was learning firsthand what hard work, craftsmanship, and responsibility looked like in the construction industry.

Those early experiences shaped the foundation of what would later become Crain Builders. David learned how homes and building systems are put together, but he also learned something just as important: how to serve people honestly, communicate clearly, and stand behind the quality of the work.

After Hurricane Rita, David had the opportunity to help renovate a local Catholic church that could not afford larger contractors. David and his father stepped in to help, and that project became a turning point. One project led to another, and over time David grew from a hands-on carpenter running small crews into a fully licensed residential and commercial contractor.

Today, David brings more than two decades of real-world construction experience to every project. Unlike contractors who only manage from a distance, David has personally worked in the trades himself, including framing, carpentry, roofing, electrical, HVAC, residential construction, and commercial work.

That experience gives clients confidence knowing their contractor understands not only how a project should look, but how it should function, perform, and last for years to come.
